Man, the running season is fully here - big races continuing to come up & fly by. This weekend there is a particularly awesome 50 miler going on with great ultra-runners. The Lake Sonoma 50 is on Saturday & my favorite iRunFar has a great Race Preview for you if you're interested. My favorite way to follow is via Twitter of course, Bryon has stated he's making the drive over from Utah & will be live tweeting; sure to be some great twitpics & coverage of the front, so check out their Twitter Feed during the race.
Unfortunately for me this weekend is apparently going to be filled with sub-par weather (Chicago Forecast). I've also been suffering from poor energy, work-outs & a nasty little shin splint this week. It's been a decidedly nasty week all & all; a bit behind in mileage & vert as well. Focus is to get the hydration going, improve the eating & hope for a big weekend & get as much outdoor work around the weather in as possible.
